Миграция генов — в популяционной генетике включение в данную популяцию генотипов из др. популяций, приводящее к потоку генов (см. Генов поток). М. г. может привести к появлению в популяции аллелей, ранее в ней отсутствовавших, или к быстрому изменению частоты имеющихся аллелей. Поэтому наряду с отбором, мутабильностью и случайными изменениями частот генов М. г. представляет собой один из генетически действенных факторов, которые могут изменять генотипическую структуру популяций.Англо-русский толковый словарь генетических терминов > gene migration
